This picture was taken right after the sitting room, bathrooms and kitchen were torn off. The builder was here when I came to the house and was really wanting to make sure that I wouldn't just loose it when I saw the mess...we kinda chuckled about this. My response was, "I guess it has to get worse, before it gets better."
