Yep, you guessed it...for about 1 1/2 weeks we were without this cat. We just thought eventually we would see it back or maybe not. This cat is a pretty good outside cat and seems to be a able to defend itself...claws and all. Well, one morning it was just gone...on our way home we saw a sign for a found cat. So I called and pictures were sent back and forth, come to find out it had gotten itself about 10 minutes away form here across a major expressway (probably underneath the interstate). I have my doubts that this cat will stay here though, you see the picture I got from these wonderful people were of the cat on a leather sofa all stretched out and enjoying life in a nice warm house and here the cats aren't allowed in the house...so we will see. Yes, the kiddos were thrilled. The only little problem is the people who rescued her claim that this cat is a male and not fixed...while the people who gave us this cat said it was a female and was fixed...the mystery will remain until she/he sees the vet this summer, until then we have thrilled kiddos and a very happy happy girl who snuggled till dark with the run away cat.
