Distractions

This is one for the record books:

As many of you know we homeschool the kiddos and there is always a fight about who is being too loud or who is jumping too much because it prevents them from doing their homework. Well, usually it is something I can take care of with the removal of one to another room or just to simply say they should focus on their homework. Today I was told that it was way too distracting to have that smell in the house and he couldn't do his homework. He very kindly asked me to not bake bread any more until he was completed with his homework. I do agree that he probably wouldn't be smelling bread baking if he went to school, however I am sure there would be other distractions.

Speaking of distractions here is an interesting fact for all of you to ponder: Did you know that there is one book that when people try to read they are distracted from reading almost everytime they attempt to read it? If you don't believe it, next time you sit and try and read your Bible count how many times your mind wanders...human nature sure is strong isn't it?
