Another addition to the "Nut House." The sound of running feet will get this little ones attention, he loves to chase after them, loves to terrorize the cats, loves to chase the chickens and just loves the attention. Koda has only been here for 24 hours and he is loved, except for the cats and possibly the chickens.
As mentioned in a post earlier we had a hard time deciding on what type of dog to get, we wanted something BIG and something that would be outside, something that would be a kid friendly dog, but also a protector...this is what we came up with...a Saint Bernard. I grew up with them and always felt safe when my folks were gone and our dog was by my side, so that probably had some influence on our decision. We had many dog breeds that we thought of from a Karakachan to a German Shepherd to a Great Pyreness to a Lab.
So as many of you know, when a puppy is taken from its parents they cry at night. So we tuck this little one in at night and put some music on that our babies used to listen to and say Good Night...hope Night 2 is as good as Night 1 was.
