Sledding

Yes, the kiddos got a school snow day today. With no electricity it was a tad hard to keep up with three kiddos doing their studies, so we just took the day off. (All the public schools got a day off also.) We played and played in the snow. We started with sledding down the hill, then went to building snowmen/women and then to forts...it was pushing about 5 hours when they finally came in because they were starving to death!! So tonight we have some wore out kiddos...we all should sleep well.

We were getting more than 2 inches of snow an hour last night, so Bill decided to plow about 8:30ish. He got out there and there was a lot of snow, almost too much for the plow and 4 wheeler, since the snow was really really heavy. So heavy in fact, that he broke the plow. So today we had our neighbor with his plow come and help us out a bit, however it gave him some troubles also. Bill went and cut some trees down this morning that were hanging way too low over the drive and shoveled our vans out that are up top of the hill.
